The New MeisterSinger Pangaea and Neo Johann Strauss Editions
Celebrating 200 years of the Waltz King with two musically elegant, limited releases.

MeisterSinger, the German watchmaker celebrated for its single-hand time displays, pays tribute to one of classical music’s most iconic figures: Johann Strauss. Known globally as the “Waltz King” and composer of the Blue Danube, Strauss is honoured with two special edition watches made to commemorate the 200th anniversary of his birth. The Johann Strauss Pangaea and Neo limited editions are a pair of refined, typical MeisterSinger timepieces for the lovers of music history and Strauss’ beloved compositions and follow in the footsteps of past MeisterSinger special editions celebrating cultural icons and themes, like the Anton Bruckner Hour-Strike or the Bell Hora Edition Notre Dame, to name a few.
Both Johann Strauss 40mm Pangaea & 36mm Neo editions come in steel and feature MeisterSinger’s signature single-hand display, and each dial is adorned with a subtle, wave-like guilloché pattern, an elegant nod to the flowing Danube River made famous in Strauss’ popular tune. A silver portrait of Johann Strauss is set into the lower half of the dial. Raised, silver-toned applied numerals and a printed railway-style minute track complete the dial’s classical look.
The dial of the 40mm Pangaea edition comes in a deep midnight blue, and the 36mm Neo version features a light blue dial. Both references are offered on a cognac-coloured calf leather strap with crocodile embossing. The solid casebacks feature an engraving of Strauss’s image, his flowing signature, and the watch number in the limited production.
The MeisterSinger Pangaea & Neo Johann Strauss Editions are powered by the automatic Sellita SW200 calibre, a reliable movement operating at 28,800 vibrations/hour with a power reserve of 38 hours, and an alternative to the ETA 2824.
The Edition Johann Strauss Pangaea is capped at 125 pieces priced at EUR 2,290, while the Edition Johann Strauss Neo is limited to 75 pieces, priced at . Each is presented in special packaging featuring a portrait of Strauss and embossed musical details. More information at Meistersinger.com.
