The New SpaceOne WorldTimer is a Radical Take on a Classic Complication
The brand continues its mission to offer technical, design-forward watchmaking at an accessible price, challenging expectations.

SpaceOne, the forward-looking brand founded by watch-centric entrepreneur Guillaume Laidet (behind the return of Nivada Grenchen) and independent watchmaker Théo Auffret, continues its ambitious trajectory by launching its third model: the SpaceOne WorldTimer. Following the Jumping Hour in 2023 and the Tellurium in 2024, their latest creation, the SpaceOne WorldTimer, pushes the brand’s design and technical language further, offering a futuristic, disc-based reinterpretation of the classic world time complication. The watch is once again designed by Olivier Gamiette, whose sci-fi-inspired style blends spacecraft aesthetics with the mechanical substance of the beloved feature.
The SpaceOne WorldTimer case is made from lightweight Grade 5 titanium, featuring a combination of polished, brushed, and sandblasted finishes that highlight its striking, unusual form. It is available in three editions: classic, uncoated titanium, and two PVD-coated versions in black or blue. The case is large yet remains fairly wearable, at 52.7mm in width including the crown and 15.88mm thick (including sapphire domes), but only 41.9mm in length thanks to its ergonomic shape and lightweight titanium construction. Twin sapphire domes, one over the dual city/24-hour display and another over the hour disc, create dimensionality. Water-resistance is 30 metres, 30 times more than enough for spatial exploration.
In keeping with the brand’s unconventional concept, the SpaceOne WorldTimer does away with traditional hands in favour of a fully disc-based display, exploded over three different areas. Hours are shown via a 12-hour disc at 6 o’clock, minutes appear through an aperture at 3 o’clock, where a smaller central disc handles the running seconds. At 9 o’clock, coaxial discs display a 24-hour scale and corresponding reference cities, enabling tracking of the world’s time zones. A three-position crown controls winding, city selection, and time-setting, offering an intuitive user experience with a non-traditional layout.
Powering the SpaceOne WorldTimer is the Soprod P024 automatic calibre, beating at 28,800 vibrations/hour with a 38-hour power reserve. The key feature, however, is the brand’s in-house WorldTimer module, designed by Théo Auffret and assembled in Paris, bringing a layer of complication and French originality to the Swiss base movement.
The watch is worn on a 22mm titanium buckle-fitted strap (rubber or textile, depending on your preferences) tapering to 18mm, completing the technical look. Limited to 600 pieces, the SpaceOne WorldTimer will be available for pre-order starting 26 June 2025, at 4PM Central European time, exclusively via the brand’s official website. The price is EUR 2,700 (excluding VAT), and deliveries are scheduled before the year’s end. Not something it’d call cheap, but certainly not excessive considering the complication and the proprietary development of a complex display module. For more information, visit spaceonewatches.com.
